In the early morning, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned Land Cruiser four wheel drive vehicle. We drive for about an hour and a half through the countryside to Anlong Veang. This was the last stronghold of Pol Pot, and you can visit the last place where he lived and died. We will have lunch before going on to visit Preah Vihear Temple. Preah Vihear is a spectacular Hindu temple complex perched on the edge of a huge cliff with a sweeping view of the countryside below.

Overnight at Preah Vihear Hotel
Day 2: Pheah Vihear - Preah Khan – Sambor Prei Kuk
This morning we leave the hotel and head to Preah Khan Temple at Kompon Svay, a huge Buddhist monastic complex from the 11th century. We then drive to the 7th century pre-Angkorian temple complex of Sambor Prei Kuk. This is actually the ruins of the city of Isanapura, the capital of the ancient Chenla Kingdom. After we finish our temple exploration, we drive back to Siem Reap.
